We did a piece two months ago and titled it “It’s the most wonderful time of the year.” It was the time when the College Bowl games were starting, people started to care about the NBA with the Christmas games and Hockey was being played outdoors. The NFL playoffs were about to start and then of course the Super Bowl.
For us in the sportsbook industry it was time of non-stop action and entertainment and business. This unfortunately is not that time. Unless you placed a bet on the Westminster Dog Show a week ago you have had no Championship action to bet on.
It’s not all bad as everyone including God took a much need break after a while. This will all be changing soon as March Madness is right sound the corner, which leads into the start of regular season baseball and then the NBA and NHL playoffs.
For you people that needed your football fix the NFL has set up the schedule to not keep you wanting for very long as well. Free agency starts on Monday, we just fished the rookie Scouting Combine and now I heard they have invented some crazy veterans scouting combine which begins on March 22 in which young guys that weren’t good enough to make it the first time like Michael Sam, will go through the same drills as the rookies did and will be given a second chance. WHAT IS THIS SURVIVOR!!!!!!!! I’m not too sure about that one.
Anyway the important thing is that things will be “Rockin and Rollin” shortly at America’s Bookie and whether you want to bet a particular game or get down a futures bet, which we personally love, they will be there to assist to in any way need be. We bet the Grizzlies at 25-1 about 2 months ago, they are now at 12-1 so it pays to shop early. Enjoy the snow and ice everyone because Spring time is right around the corner.
