One of the first times I came across the term the “rules” while watching sports was when I was a little child.  Michael Jordan was trying to get by the Detroit Pistons.  Joe Dumars and company invoked the Jordan Rules to hold him in check for many years.  His greatness finally overcame them but those guidelines did the trick.  On today’s The Brink, we will look at a set of rules in vodka drinking as well as wagering.  Can our bankroll and bar life expand with these instructions?

When to use Average Stock

Quality costs and in not every situation does it warrant the price for its inclusion.  We are talking vodka on 8/27.  Situations dictate when to use the really good stuff and when the average stuff ran through Brita filters will do.  For those that do not know, average vodka should be ran several times through a home vodka to mellow out the burn.  It works but does not bring it up to the level of high end.  So here are the rules of when to and not to pour drinks with the swill.

1.  Straight vodka drinking should be high end only.  The roughness or burn factor is very evident in the cheap stuff and only taken somewhat away after being ran through the filters.

2.  Drinks like a Gimlet.  Here the lines start to blur.  Half thought the cheap stuff was high end and vice versa.

3.  Finally, the more sweetness or masking flavors in the drink, the more you can substitute.  The old drink good beer for the first few and then switch to cheaper afterwards because then it just becomes chasing the buzz.

Sports Investment Management Rule

Bankroll used to go with the tried and true rule that bet sizing would equate to roughly three percent of the BR at that time for the wager at hand.  For the run of the mill shop, this is quite acceptable.  However, higher end sportsbooks like America’s Bookie allows you to increase and even get into the lean factor.  A higher percentage is preferable as your account has the Free Play and other promotions that can be plucked from your pocket when you reload.  This is the true way to implement aggressive stances based on your superior sports strategy.

So save the upper brands for your friends and let the guests feast off of the filtered vodka.  Anytime someone wants some kind of fruity female drink, substitute at your leisure.  As for your bankroll, baseball is king for now with football ready to be crowned in September.  Lets get those portfolios up to date at America’s Bookie right now.  Good fortune and let us go get them.
