Friday morning’s sunrise brings an atmosphere of excitement to the horseshoe.  Western Michigan marching in is normally a game where seats are bestowed from season tickets holders to family and friends.  This time around fans want to see that the lackluster game against Northern Illinois is a thing in the past.  With a spread of -28 find out why it has gone all the way up to – 31 1/2.  Also is there still room on the train to post profit on this 3:30 PM game.  Read on as The Brink breaks it all down for you.

Cardale Jones Named as Starter

A two quarterback system was not all that it was cracked up to be.  Both signal callers were suffering so Urban Meyer had to make a decision.  In bestowing Cardale Jones the first string, we hope the offense will make the necessary adjustments.  What we mean is that the simple offense that won the national championship should be returned.  When Cardale is asked to anticipate the defense, he has made mistakes.  He is at his best on the move and using his legs as a weapon.  Helter skelter it might be but not many college defenses can contain his level of combustion.

Common Opponent

November 21st takes some of the luster off of the common opponent but it will be a discussion point for a month and a half.  Western Michigan got twenty four points against Michigan State.  Ohio State is a rival not only in the Big Ten but for national championship slots.  OSU has already had their “bad” game against Northern Illinois.  They can not afford to take a quarter off here.  Voters need to be reminded about the defending champs and nothing does that more than blasting a common opponent off the map.

These are two of the reasons why the line has shifted like this.  Remember that Ohio State has one of the largest fan bases in all the United States.  They bleed Buckeye and do so by betting big on them no matter what.  The good news is that they are correct this week.  Look for an absolute bombardment of this smaller school.  The – 31 1/2 still has some play so invest in Ohio State right now at America’s Bookie.
