It’s getting sickening how many calls are being blown in the NFL nowadays. Millions of dollars are changing hands based on botched calls by the refs.The latest of which took place on Monday Night football where everyone including myself saw that the guy swatted the ball out of bounds and that it should’ve been Detroit’s ball at the spot of the fumble.

Its mind boggling that these guys are bringing paid good moony and that can’t get the call correct. That play may cost Detroit a playoff spot, put Seattle into the playoffs and may change who is going g to be in the Super Bowl. All of the Lion fans are pissed off, the people that had Detroit on the money line lost a good payday and all because of incompetence of the officials.

This is not an isolated incident. In the Giant-Dallas game when the Giants weren’t messing up, the refs were messing up. Cromartie was called for pass interfere by tapping the receiver on the shoulder earlier in the game, and then on the stupid pass by Eli, the TE was mugged and there was no flag. An apology was issued by the NFL but that is not good enough. These are not the “replacement “refs”.These guys are supposed to know what they are doing and when everyone in the country can see the mistakes something has to be done. I truly believe that instant replay has made the refs hesitant to throw flags. They don’t want to be found in error so they take the safe way out and do nothing. The other thing that drives me crazy is when the fans moan on every incomplete pass and sometimes then the ref take the flag out of his pocket at that time cuz of the crowd. These guys need to be in charge and control of the situation, otherwise we need to have someone in the booth like in NCAA that can buzz down to field when there is an error or need to look at it again and then they can make the call, cuz their ass is hidden behind closed doors and they will be less influenced by the live setting.

People make mistakes but seriously when Johnson fumbled the ball your first reaction was who is going to get it, and when you see one guy all alone in the end zone and he swats it out, you know something was wrong even if you don’t know the rules. The really sad part is they are allowed to huddle now and you are telling me that all of the refs missed that call and me and you saw it from our couches. We are going to keep betting at America’s Bookie but please, I have no problem if I lose money due to my mistakes or the mistake of the team I bet on, but I will not tolerate losing money because if the incompetence of someone that should not be involved in the outcome and should be doing his job.
