Joe Berra here on a Thursday morning, full of piss and vinegar! Did you guys read and follow my advice for last night’s 4-3 Blackhawks victory over the Oilers? It took me a while to decide what to bet on, but after I wrote my article yesterday, I called up America’s Bookie and went all-in on the OVER.

The last couple weeks had caught up to me, so I hit the hay real early last night. I wake up and do my morning business on the throne as I’m reviewing last night’s sporting action and BAAAM, chalk another one up for the good guys! Let’s keep the dream alive with a two team parlay tonight. Remember, I already have a Three Team Special Teaser for Week 11 in the NFL including tonight’s TNF match-up.

We’ll start with some puck action in the City of Brotherly Love, aka, the home of the world’s worse sports fans…Philadelphia. The Flyers (6-8-3-1, 9-9 ATS) host the San Jose Sharks (10-8, 9-9 ATS) at the Wells Fargo Center. San Jose is half way through a six game road trip that has seen them win their first 3 games, the last being a 5-4 victory in Boston on Tuesday night.

The Sharks goal and points leader Joe Pavelski helped lead the Sharks past the Bruins scoring his 10th goal of the season and setting up two others. Veteran Joe Thornton also had a goal, his 3rd, and two assists. The Sharks scored two power-play goals, their third in the past two games after going 0-14 in their first six games this month.

After winning 4 of five in a mid-October stretch, the Flyers have gone 2-9 since and find themselves 13th in the Eastern Conference. It won’t get any easier for a Flyers team that has lost their last 7 meetings when the Sharks visit them with San Jose going 14-2-2 in the last 18 games between the two. The Sharks are paying -130 for the win with the Flyers at +110 with the total at 5.

The second part of our two team parlay sees the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-3, 3-8 ATS) try to snap their first two-game losing streak of the year when they host the Milwaukee Bucks (5-6, 5-6 ATS). The Cavs will try to avenge the first of their two losses tonight after losing to the Bucks on Saturday, a 108-105 double overtime thriller. Cleveland is currently a 9½-point favorite with the number at 195½.

LeBron James has since called out his team, saying they are “Too relaxed and too nice”, following their loss in Detroit on Tuesday. Even with the two losses, Cleveland still remains atop the East standings, tied with the Bulls and rank 5th in defense allowing 96.4 points/game and 8th in points for with 102.5.

Milwaukee last played in Washington on Tuesday and got killed 115-86 scoring only 57 points in the last three quarters. The Bucks managed only 12 turnovers after forcing 20 upsetting the Cavs a few nights before.

Here’s how our parlay will look. San Jose has been playing too well and the Flyers too terrible, both historically and presently for me not to love the Sharks in this one. LeBron and the Cavs will be out for blood in their rematch against the Bucks, and I expect King James to rule. Take the Sharks moneyline (-130) and the Cavaliers -9½ for a winning parlay.
