Stabilization has arrived for one of the more profitable and entertaining sports league.  The NHL has gone through almost a month and the landscape is taking shape.  Initial surprises have either becomes trends or have faded back into novelty.  Now is the time for Light the Lamp to arrive.  It is Americas Bookie’s latest series of articles to debut here on AsktheBookie.  In it, we go over all the trends and tallies that will enable us to score big in our bankrolls.  So with our eye on the prize and finger on the switch, we are ready to light the lamp when are goal of building bankrolls comes through for us all.

Rookies Rise Up

Legends like Sidney Crosby still struggle with past injuries, the new blood of the NHL were making their mark and are going nowhere.  Connor McDavid was in the midst of making a name for himself with the demolition of goalies like Petr Mrazek.  Alas a shoulder injury will keep him on ice.  Names like Oscar Lindberg of the Rangers, and Jack Eichel of the Sabres not only will hit the highlight reel but will allow their teams to continue to achieve.  Buffalo will do better than expected because of his output.

Sheer Will Power

This league has their champion ready to roll from the get go.  Chicago is in the midst of forging a dynasty.  Part of what makes us think they have a good shot at repeating is their captain, Johathan Toews.  Remember a few weeks ago how through sheer force of will he decided to win the game in overtime against the Lightning?  With effort and productivity already in mid season form, the Blackhawks appear to be well on the way to ushering in profit for us from now until the New Year.

So sit back as we bring you hockey news, rumors, and predictions several times a week.  Whether you got on board with this sport in the Oiler’s heyday or became a fan when Hockeytown ruled the roost, we will share in our collective experience to manufacture that product.  Some say it is a long grind but we consider it a nightly pleasure as we pluck profit from underdog and puckline wagering.  Welcome to Light the Lamp and we will usher in our Free Picks on our Tuesday edition.  Good fortune and keep those blades sharp.
